Katia Moochooram was crowned Miss Earth Mauritius 2015 on Saturday, Sept 26th at the conclusion of the national pageant. She is 25 years of age and stands 5'8" tall. She bested 13 stunning contestant to claim the title of Miss Earth Mauritius 2015 and was crowned by the outgoing queen, Anne Sophie Lalanne who was unplaced at Miss Earth 2014. Katia will now represent Mauritius in Miss Earth 2015 coming up in Vienna, Austria later this year.

Katia Moochooram is a model with passion for equestrian. She will represent Mauritius at the Miss Earth 2015 pageant in Vienna, Austria this December.

Katia is a professional model and has featured in so many model jobs. She loves travelling and wishes to travel all over the world. She has worked with around a dozen professional photographers and studios, including Sachin Sagar, Derek Antonio Serra, Charlotte Schousboe, Jean Paul Mussodee,Thomas Bergmair, Aperture Studio, and Reactive studio. She landed campaigns  such as Une Histoire d'Amour, Shaffiq Hosse, Lovenci, Island Haze, Fashion House, IV Play, Forever Young, In'Am Winter Collection 2011, Mexx, Wajiha Akram (a Pakistan based designer), HSBC, Helios Polarized and Patrick Mavros Jewellery.
