Gladys Flores Simón will represent Mexico at Miss Earth 2015 (Results)

Gladys Flores Simón was crowned Miss Earth Mexico 2015 on 19th, Sept. 2015. The 22 years old queen was crowned by the outgoing queen, Yareli Carrilo Salas who finished Top 16 in the 2014 Miss Earth contest. Gladys represented Puebla at the national contest where she defeated 31 other participants to win the coveted crown which approves her as the country's representative at Miss Earth 2015. Jamie Harell the reigning Miss Earth was present at the event.

The contest was established in 2002 and has its national director as Paul Marsell. The closest Mexico has gotten to the Miss Earth title was in 2008 when Abigail Elizalde Romo of Coahuila finished as the second runner-up/ Miss Earth Water. However, Casandra Ananké Becerra Vázquez in 2011 and Kristal Silva Dávila in 2013 finished Top 8 with the special award of Best Long Gown and Miss Golden Sunset respectively.
