Miss World Japan 2015 is Chika Nakagawa from Niigata. The 20 years old and 1.73m tall newly crowned queen will now represent Japan at Miss World 2015 to be held in Sanya, China on December 19. She defeated 31 other contestants to win the coveted crown and crowned by the outgoing queen Hikaru Kawai who got a special award of People's Choice in the 2014 Miss World contest.

The national pageant Miss World Japan started in 2013. Chika is the 3rd straight girl from Oscar Promotion (Talent management company) to win the Miss World Japan pageant as the 2013 Michiko Tanaka and 2014 Hikaru Kawai winners were also from Oscar promotion. The runners-up were Hitomi Yoshioka, Erena Ishiguro and Ayaka Satomi.
