Weronika Szmajdziñska is Miss Universe Poland 2015. She has been hand-picked as the representative for this year. She is 21 years old and 1.71m tall from Szczecin. She succeeds Marcela Chmielowska Miss Universe Poland 2014. 

Star Hellas 2015 Mikaela Fotiadis is Miss Universe Greece 2015

Mikaela Fotiadis is Miss Universe Greece 2015. She was elected as Star Hellas 2015 in a casting held on October 30, 2015 which gave her the official right to represent her country at Miss Universe 2015. She succeeds Ismini Dafopoulou of last year.

Silvia Commodore is Miss Earth Ghana 2015

Silvia Commodore won the Miss Earth Ghana 2015 on Oct. 3 at the La Palm Hotel in Accra, Ghana. She is 22 years old from Accra and competed with 5 other finalists to clinch to the national title. As Miss Earth Ghana, she will be joining other delegates in Vienna, Austria to win the Miss Earth 2015 title. 

Armenia Makes Debut in Miss Earth 2015 with Lilit Martirosyan

Miss Earth Armenia 2015 is Lilit Martirosyan. She is 26 years old from Yerevan, the capital and largest city of Armenia. She is a professional model and the winner of Top Model Armenia 2015. As Top Model Armenia, she participated in Top Model of the World 2015 in Egypt where she was appointed to make Armenia's debut in Miss Earth 2015 to be held in Vienna, Austria.

Armenia is a landlocked country in the South Caucasus region of Eurasiais bordered by Turkey to the west, Georgia to the north, Azerbaijan to the east, and Iran and the Azerbaijani exclave of Nakhchivan to the south.

Who will Succeed Jamie Herrell? - Meet Miss Earth 2015 Contestants

Miss Earth 2015, the 15th edition of Miss Earth pageant will be held on 5 December 2015 at Marx Halle, Vienna, Austria where reigning Jamie Herrell of the Philippines will crown her successor at the end of the event. According to the Miss Earth official website, 90 delegates or more would be competing in this year pageant.

Refilwe Fifi Mthimunye is Miss Universe South Africa 2015

Refilwe Fifi Mthimunye who finished 1RU at Miss South Africa 2015 will be representing South Africa at Miss Universe 2015 pageant which will take place on 20th December 2015 at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas,USA. Usually the winner of Miss South Africa represents the country at both Miss World and Miss Universe pageant. But this year Miss World and Miss Universe will take place simultaneously on 19th and 20th Dec, this has prompt the Miss South Africa Organization to send another delegate to Miss Universe pageant.  Refilwe succeeds Ziphozakhe Zokufa as Miss Universe South Africa.

Though an official announcement has not been made by the Miss SA org as at today but report of the appointment was sent to TPGC by an insider.

Refilwe is 23 years old from Bronkhorstspruit in Tshwane. She is a third year law student at the University of South Africa.  Refilwe is working as a model with Alushi Models Management.  Her mother works with South African Police Services as a commissioner.  Refilwe enjoys singing with her sisters and loves to playing action netball with her friends; she also enjoys basketball and soccer.  She was crowned second princess at the 2013 edition of Miss Sundown and 2012 edition of Miss Varsity College, Pretoria

Miss Universe 1978 Margaret Gardiner became the first and only  Miss Universe from South Africa. The African powerhouse has produced remarkable beauties at the Miss Universe stage SOuth Africa has one first runner up crown courtesy of Leticia “Tisha” Snyman (1984),Cindy Nell was crowned second runner up at Miss Universe 2003. Nicolette Caras (1960) and Vanessa Do Ceu Carreira (2002) both won third runner up crown in their respective years. Besides these placement South Africa has placed twelve times in the history of the pageant.South Africa debuted at Miss Universe in the year 1952.

NEWS: Miss Universe 2015 takes place in Las Vegas, USA - Officially Announced!

It has been officially announced on Miss Universe facebook page after already rumored that Miss Universe 2015 will take place at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA on December 20, 2015. Below is the official statement on Facebook.

"We are very excited to announce that the 2015 MissUniverse Pageant will air on Sunday, December 20th on FOX at 7/6c. The pageant is being hosted by the fabulous Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The three-hour event will feature the most beautiful women from around the world, however only one can take home the crown 👑! Who do you think will be the next Miss Universe?!

As its no more news that  WME | IMG acquired MUO from Donald Trump last month, expanding the company’s portfolio of global media events and media properties across entertainment and live events.
In light of the change of ownership, WME/IMG has partnered with FOX to broadcast the event which also gives FOX right to broadcast the sister-pageant Miss USA. Prior to the acquisition, the pageant was aired by NBC which recorded over 7.5 million viewers at last edition.

“Miss Universe is a unique, global media property and this partnership with Fox marks a new era for The Miss Universe Organization as a whole,” said Michael Antinoro, SVP of Original Content, IMG. “As the broadcast leader in innovative and groundbreaking live events, Fox is the perfect partner as we look to implement new and exciting changes to this show and the franchise.”

According to Variety, the “64th Annual Miss Universe Pageant” will air on Sunday, Dec. 20 from Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The three-hour telecast will air live from 7 to 10 p.m. ET and tape-delayed in the West.

Alexis Wynne from Denver wins Miss Colorado Teen USA 2016

17-year-old Alexis Wynne from Denver is Miss Colorado Teen USA 2016. She stands 5'9" tall and was 3RU at last year's contest. She was crowned by the outgoing queen Taylor Kelly of Castle Pines on October 25th. She will compete at the 2016 Miss Teen USA Pageant. Caley-Rae Pavillard was crowned Miss Colorado USA 2016 at the same event.

Colorado has only placed five times in the Miss Teen USA pageant’s history. Three of those placements all came in the 1990s. The fourth placement, in 2007, was Colorado’s only win, as well as its only top five placement. They have also won a style award, in 1999.

Caley-Rae Pavillard was crowned Miss Colorado USA 2016

22 years old Caley-Rae Pavillard was crowned Miss Colorado USA 2016 on October 25th. The 5'9" tall stunning beauty from Castle Rock will represent her state at the 2016 Miss USA Pageant where she hopes to be crowned by the reigning Miss USA Olivia Jordan from Oklahoma. Her predecessor was Miss Colorado USA 2015 Talyah Pole.

Alexis Wynne was also crowned Miss Colorado Teen USA 2016 at the event.

Pavillard is model and a fitness instructor at Pure Barre Dallas. She has been marked as triple crown winner as she had won 2 titles previously - Miss Colorado's Outstanding Teen 2008, Miss Colorado Teen USA 2011. She was also placed as Top 15 Miss Teen USA 2011.
