Sydney Blue Halper is
Miss Idaho USA 2016 after defeating 13 other contestants. She represented Latah County at the event and was crowned by her predecessor, Claira Hollingsworth (Miss Idaho USA 2015) on September 19, 2015 to represent Idaho at Miss USA 2016. Sydney is 21-year-old, stands 5'9" tall and is tagged to be a graduate with honors in the spring of 2016 in Clothing, Textiles, Design and Business at University of
Idaho. This is not the first of her success stories in pageant as she was 4th runner up in Miss Idaho USA 2015 and 1st runner up at Miss Idaho USA 2014. Her court includes 1st
runner-up Ashley DeBoer, 2nd runner-up Cassie Lewis, 3rd runner-up
Ashley Southern and 4th runner-up Miso Jang.

On the other hand,
Kate Pekuri has been chosen as
Miss Idaho Teen USA 2016. She will be representing Idaho at Miss Teen USA 2016.
Sydney has been into modeling and fashion
since age 15 and has worked with top agencies and
photographers in California, Nevada, Idaho and Texas. Growing up ad an adopted child, Sydney hopes to use her Miss Idaho platform to raise awareness about
adoption advocacy groups such as the National Council for Adoption.
Inspired by her favorite quote, Sydney believes we should “be the change
you wish to see in the world.”
