Bahamas crowns its queens (Miss Bahamas 2015 Result)

Yesterday, Sept. 13th, Miss Bahamas 2015 pageant was held at Atlantis Theatre Paradise Island where representatives for three out of the Big4 pageants were chosen - Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss Earth. 11 contestants compted to win the coveted crowns and honour to represent their country at international level.

21 years old Chantel O’Brian won the Miss World Bahamas 2015 title and will be representing 
her country at the Miss World pageant to be held in Sanya, China later this year. The  is 5’7″ 1/2 tall queen works as a sales associate and hopes to own a Youth Development center. In three words, she defined herself as passionate, survivor and charismatic.  Her motivator is her mother and her favourite movie is "Pursuit of Happyness" directed by Gabriele Muccino, featured Will Smith. Her first runner up was Tavette Darville

Also, Toria Penn, 27 years old was crowned Miss Universe Bahamas 2015 and will be representing the country at Miss Universe 2015. She is 6'11" tall and wants to be a very successful fashion designer. She described herself as creative, ambitious and selfless in three words. Also sees herself as a perfectionist and her favorite movie is Mulan written by Sister Souljah who she desires to meet someday. Her 1st runner-up was Sienna Evans

Representing Bahamas at Miss Earth 2015 is 25 years old  Darronique Young. She is a tourism gradaute and wants to work in Ministry of Tourism. Life motives her and described herself as humble, driven and confident. Her favorite movie is "The Lion King" and wants to meet Walt Disney because she loves Disney films.

Bahamas has been so unlucky in international pageants as no record of win. Do you think luck is on their side this year with their delegates?
