The 26 years old and 1.72m tall beauty queen defeated 16 other stunning beauties to be crowned by Nadine Roberts, Miss Earth Australia 2014. Dayana will proceed to the international level of the pageant - Miss Earth 2015 to be held in Vienna, Austria.  Her court include Miss Earth Australia Air Lyndl Kean (1RU), Miss Earth Australia Water Genie Koulaeva (2RU), and Miss Earth Australia Fire – Tahnee McGann (3RU).

The thrilling thing about Dayana's win is she won the title twice in a row. That is, she won the Miss Earth Australia title last year but was dethroned due to reasons best known to the organization and was replaced by her runner up Nadine Roberts who was unplaced in Miss Earth 2014. Other pageants, Dayana has participated include Miss America Latina 2010, Miss Earth Australia 2013 where she finished 3rd runner up (Miss Earth Australia Fire), and Miss World Australia 2014 where she was unplaced. Earlier this year, she competed in Miss Bolivia 2015 as her father is from Bolivia and is her birth place but was unplaced rather got a special award of Miss Friendship.

Dayana has been involved in charity work since a young age of 14 and she's passionate about helping less fortunate people. She is also involve in Elephant conservation by doing a volunteer work at an elephant rescue sanctuary, the Elephant Nature Foundation in Northern thailand. Also work with the Sydney Metropolitan Services in rescuing injured wildlife for rehabilitation.

Australia has never won Miss Earth crown before but with Dayana Grageda, I have a strong believe that a record is about to set for Australia in Miss Earth or what do you think?
