Yesterday, 20th September 2015,
Miss Guatemala 2015 contest was conducted to choose the other 3 representatives of the Big4 international pageants namely - Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss International.
At the end of the event,
Fabiola Jeimmy Tahíz Aburto was crowned Miss Guatemala 2015 (Universe),
María José Larrañaga as Miss World Guatemala 2015 and
Saida Jerónimo as Miss International Guatemala 2015. While
Sara Veralucia Guerrero Chavarrira has been appointed as
Miss Earth Guatemala 2015 last month

Jeimmy Aburto is 21 years old from Ciudad Capital Sur. She is a Guatemalan model was crowned as
Miss Guatemala 2015
by the outgoing queen Ana Luisa Montufar who was unplaced at Miss Universe 2014. She bested 11 other contestants to win the Miss Guatemala 2015 title which gives her the official right of representing Guatemala at Miss Universe 2015.
María José Larrañaga is 23 years old from Depto Guatemala. She was adjudged
Miss Mundo Guatemala 2015 and crowned by Keyla Bermudez, the outgoing queen who was unplaced at Miss World 2014. As the newly crowned Miss World Guatemala, she will participate in the Miss World 2015 pageant to be held on December 19 in Sanya, China.
The 3rd queen is
Saida Jerónimo from Chiquimula who was crowned as
Miss Internacional Guatemala 2015. The 22 years old delegate was crowned by her predecessor, Claudia Herrera who failed to place at Miss International 2014 pageant. Saida will represent her country at Miss International 2015 pageant to be held in Tokyo, Japan.
Guatemala has never won any of these international pageants nor get placed in Top 5 except in 1984 that Ihma Julieta Urrutia Chang won the Miss International title. We wish the new delegates luck and hope they could improve on Guatemala's pageantry history.
