Miss Texas USA 2016 titleholder is
Daniella Rodriguez. She was crowned by her predeccessor Ylianna Guerra who was placed
first runner-up at Miss USA 2015 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She vied with 104 contestants to win the coveted crown at the finale of the state pageant held on September 6, 2015 at Post Oak Hilton in Houston. The 19 years old and 172cm tall queen will represent her state at the Miss USA 2016 to be held in July 2016

Daniella was formerly
Miss Texas Teen USA 2013 where she was unplaced. She
acts, dances, sings, writes songs and plays the guitar. She has also
found time to lend her support to organizations and charities close to
her heart, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Pink Ribbon
Awareness and Special Olympics. She also carries a special soft spot in
her heart for Down syndrome and autistic children.
