Rafaela Pardete was crowned Miss República Portuguesa
2015.The 25-year-old queen was crowned by Zita Oliveira Miss World Portugal 2014 at the end of the national pageant held at the Palácio do
Marquês de Pombal in Oeiras. She defeated 18 other contenders to be Portugal’s delegate at Miss
World 2015 pageant in Sanya, China on December 19.She had competed in Miss Universe Portugal 2014 where she was adjudged 2nd runner-up and represented Portugal at Miss International 2014 where she was unplaced.
The runners-up were Inês Brusselmans as first and Inês Gigant as second.

Miss Portugal started sending its winner to only Miss World since 2003
when it lost Miss Universe franchise. Portugal has never been placed not
to talk of wining the Miss World title. However, we hope Rafael could
break the record in the 2015 contest considering her experience.
