Maria Morarou was crowned
Star Cyprus 2015. Maria will be representing Cyprus at
Miss Universe 2016. She succeeds Markélla Konstantínou. The last time Cyprus participated in Miss Universe was in 2012 with Ioanna Yiannakou. Demetra Eleftheriou who finished as Top 10 in 2002 is the only placement the country has in Miss Universe pageant.
Maria Costas was crowned the
Miss Cyprus 2015 and will represent at Miss World 2016. The runner ups were Athena Loizou who will participate at Miss Earth 2016 and Marina Kyriakou. Elena Charalambous took the Miss Young title.
