Shauna Ramdyhan is Miss Guyana Universe 2015

Shauna Ramdyhan won Miss Guyana Universe 2015 title at the finals held on 16th November 2015 at the Princess Ramada Hotel. The 25 years old queen defeated 8 other contestants and will represent Guyana at Miss Universe 2015 to be held at Las Vegas in the United States of America on the 20th of December, 2015.
  Shauna succeeds Niketa Barker as the title-holder.  The pageant was formerly known as Miss British Guiana.

Shauna Ramdyhan lives in Georgetown, Guyana.  She works as Foreign Services Officer, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  Guyana has never placed at Miss Universe pageant although they are participating since 1956.  Shauna has almost no time for the Miss Universe pageant.  Within few days, she will have to leave for Miss Universe pageant.  Many countries are electing their representatives for Miss Universe 2016.  In such situation, electing the Miss Universe representative at such a late time is not a wise move for Guyana.  If Shauna had 5-6 months in her hands, she could have prepared herself well for the Miss Universe title.
