According to a widely read Nigerian blog - Linda Ikeji Blog, the delegate went straight to her camp (Park Inn hotel) in Sandton and while waiting to be checked into her room at 7:00am, three armed men robbed her of her belongings, costumes and travel documents at gun point, just at the reception right before the receptionist and the security men, who couldn't help.
The beauty queen expressed her trauma and fear that her performance at this pageant could be affected by the ugly experience. As she is yet to know how to recover/replace her stolen costumes, documents, shoes and accessories.
