Tiffany Teixeira is crowned Miss Connecticut USA 2016

Tiffany Teixeira was crowned Miss Connecticut USA 2016 at the conclusion of the state pageant, held on November 15, 2015 at Hartford Marriott Farmington in Hartford. She succeeds Ashley Golebiewski and will represent Connecticut at the next edition of Miss USA, to be held next year.
She is 24 years old and stands 5'5" tall from Bridgeport. In the same event Katy Brown was crowned as Miss Teen Connecticut USA 2016

Tiffany is a graduate of Central Magnet High School and Quinnipiac University. She works as an ICU nurse at Yale-New Haven hospital and hopes to further her career as a Critical Care Registered Nurse by obtaining her Doctorates degree in Nursing Practice and specializing in Anesthesia. Tiffany enjoys traveling, walking with her pet Chihuahua & working with her dad on cars.  Also works out and Bikram Yoga.

Her school and community activities include: Alianza Americana Women’s Foundation in Nicaragua; assisted with multiple flu clinics, providing free flu shots to the surrounding community Magnet; held Health Programs promoting health care within the community. She represented Connecticut at Miss Teen USA 2009. Prior to that she was as second runner up at Miss Teen Connecticut USA 2007 and first runner up at Miss Teen Connecticut USA 2008. She competed at the senior division in 2013 where she was crowned first runner-up last she was crowned second runner-up at 2014 and 2015 editions.

Miss Connecticut USA 2016 Top 5

Miss USA 2013 Erin Brady is the only Miss USA title holder from the state of Connecticut. The state has two first runner up crown courtesy of Diane Zabicki at Miss USA1962 and Pat Denne in 1966 edition of Miss USA. Alita Dawson Miss Connecticut USA 2002 was fourth runner-up at Miss USA 2002. Apart from these achievement Connecticut has placed only six times at the pageant.
