Jessica Strohm from Manchester was crowned Miss New Hampshire USA 2016 on November 1, 2015. The 24-year-old and 5′6″ tall newly crowned queen succeeds Samantha Sue Poirier. As the winner of Miss New Hampshire title, she now has the official right to represent the state at Miss USA 2016 pageant next year where she
hopes to be crowned by the reigning Miss USA Olivia Jordan. Valeria Podobniy will be representing the state at Miss Teen USA 2016.
Strohm, a 2008 graduate of Falmouth High School, graduated from Bristol Community College in 2010 and has worked in the food service industry and as a paralegal. In 2014 she won the Miss New England States title and the Miss Tri-State Massachusetts title and in 2013 she was Miss Rhode Islands USA 2013 first runner up.
