Lauren Rymer is crowned Miss Mississippi Teen USA 2016

Lauren Rymer was crowned Miss Mississippi Teen USA 2016 on October 31, 2015 at the Gold Strike Casino Resort. The 17-year-old and 5'9" tall beauty queen will represent her state at Miss Teen USA 2016.
She succeeds Miss Mississippi Teen USA 2015 Andrea Hightower. At the same event, was crowned Haley Sowers as Miss Mississippi USA 2016.

“It hasn’t hit me yet at all really,” Rymer said after her coronation. “It’s almost like a dream”.
Lauren represented her hometown, Natchez at the state pageant. She attends Adams County Christian School where she is a cheerleader, treasurer of the Student Council and a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Key Club and the National Honour Society.

The state has can boast of one Miss Teen USA crown in 1987 courtesy of Kristi Addi. Last year, Vaeda Mann also went so close to the crown by finishing as 1RU at Miss Teen USA 2014 pageant. And Haley Sowers finished 4RU at 2010's pageant.
