Bridget Jacobs was crowned Miss Minnesota USA 2016

23 years old Bridget Jacobs was crowned Miss Minnesota USA 2016. The 5'11" tall queen is from  Minneapolis and succeeds Jessica Scheu on November 29, 2015. She will join othe states delegates to compete at Miss USA 2016 next year where she vies to be crowned by the reigning Miss USA Olivia Jordan from Oklahoma. Sophia Primozich was crowned Miss Minnesota Teen USA 2016 at the pageant.

The first ever win and only crown bagged by this state was in 1976 when Barbara Peterson won Miss USA 1976. Afterwards, Deborah Cossette of 1977, Lanore Van Buren of 2002 and Kari Lee Johnson of 1985 finished as 2RU, 3RU and 4RU respectively. There are records of several placement earned by this state since participation apart from those mentioned.

Athena Loizou was chosen as Miss Earth Cyprus 2016. She will be representing Cyprus at Miss Earth 2016. Maria Morarou was crowned the Star Cyprus 2015 while Maria Costa was crowned Miss Cyprus 2015. Elena Charalambous took the Miss Young title

Victoria Wiggins is Miss Kansas USA 2016

Victoria Wiggins was crowned Miss Kansas USA 2016 yesterday, Nov. 29th 2016. The 24 years old beauty from Junction City was crowned by the outgoing titleholder Alexis Railsback of Shawnee. 5'9" tall Wiggins will have the opportunity to compete at the 2016 Miss USA Pageant where she hopes to be crowned by the reigning Miss USA Olivia Jordan from Oklahoma. Madison Moore won the Teen pageant and will be representing the state at Miss Teen USA 2016.

Kansas only win was in 1991 by Kelli McCarty. After the win, the state had made close inch to the crown several times by finishing as 1RU and 2RU twice on different editions. The last placement was 5 years ago when Bethany Gerber finished as Top 10.

23-year-old model Mariah LazCosta from Lympia was crowned Miss Cyprus 2015. Costa is expected to represent Cyprus at Miss World 2016. She succeeds Rafaéla Charalámpous who will be competing at Miss World 2015. The country has never been placed at Miss world pageant however placed at preliminary competitions but not a win at the competition.

Maria Morarou was crowned the Star Cyprus 2015 and will represent at Miss Universe 2016. Athena Loizou will participate at Miss Earth 2016 and Marina Kyriakou. Elena Charalambous took the Miss Young title.

Maria Morarou is crowned Star Cyprus 2015

22-year-old model Maria Morarou was crowned Star Cyprus 2015. Maria will be representing Cyprus at Miss Universe 2016. She succeeds Markélla Konstantínou.  The last time Cyprus participated in Miss Universe was in 2012 with Ioanna Yiannakou. Demetra Eleftheriou who finished as Top 10 in 2002 is the only placement the country has in Miss Universe pageant.

Maria Costas was crowned the Miss Cyprus 2015 and will represent at Miss World 2016. The runner ups were Athena Loizou who will participate at Miss Earth 2016 and Marina Kyriakou. Elena Charalambous took the Miss Young title.

Miss Philippines Cindy Madumma crowned Miss Scuba International 2015

Miss Philippines Cindy Madumma won Miss Scuba International 2015 pageant which was held on Friday, November 27 held in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. Her runners-up are Kiara Aiello from Venezuela, and  Tessa Ptacek from USA. The special awards were Miss Photogenic & Miss Talent - Miss Latvia, Miss Marine Conservation & Best in National Costume-Miss Philippines and Miss Congeniality - Miss Venezuela .

27-year-old Cindy is a Pinay nurse from Palawan, who was handpicked by the Miss Scuba Philippines team to represent the country.  She was Miss Global Philippines 2014-Tourism Ambassador and she represented the country in the Miss Tourism World 2014 held in Caracas, Venezuela. The closest the country ever got to bringing home the Miss Scuba International crown was in 2013 when Paula Bernasor was declared 1st runner-up to winner Jaime Lee Faulkner from the United Kingdom.

The Miss Scuba International pageant, with its mission “Saving Oceans through Beauty,” started in 2011 and was founded by Robert Lo, who is a strong believer in sustainable development within the realms of the marine environment.
Lo hopes that through this pageant, more people will understand how fragile the oceans are and how to make a big difference by protecting it. The pageant focuses on marine and ocean conservation.

Joanna Cooper wins Miss Universe Ireland 2015

Joanna Cooper, Miss Wildcard won Miss Universe Ireland 2015 pageant which was held last night at The Imperial Hotel in South Mall, Cork. The Irish beauty from Derry defeated 25+ contestants to succeed Miss Universe Ireland 2014 Lisa Madden. She will now set forth to las Vegas to represent her country at Miss Universe 2015.

The runners-up are Miss Love Irish Skin, Shauna Lindsay and Miss Cork, Cailin Ni Tobin. Cooper will receive Gold Fever Hair extensions, a Make Up For Ever hamper, Jewellery from Tower Jewellers, a modelling contract and a whole new wardrobe from Mac Doll Boutique.

Since Ireland’s debut in Miss Universe 1961, it is yet to produce an Irish Miss Universe.  In 2002, Andrea Roche Model Agency was awarded the rights to host the Miss Universe Ireland pageant and to send an Irish representative to compete at Miss Universe. This came in 2003 after the Miss Ireland Organisation changed owners and dropped the license of Miss Universe. Since then, the organisation has been sending the Republic of Ireland’s representative to the international beauty pageant. The only placement bagged was in 2010 courtesy of Rozanna Purcell.

Miss World 2015 has already held its talent auditions to test the creative performance abilities of the contestants. The winner of this challenge will automatically enter the semifinals. The Talent Show will be held on December 14

Meet the Miss Supranational 2015 Contestants

Miss Supranational pageant came into existence in 2009 held in the beautiful city of Płock, Poland while the 2012 edition was held in Warsaw. In 2013, the pageant went abroad for the first time; being hosted by the city of Minsk in Belarus. Its 7 years now, and it has developed into one of the world’s most prestigious live TV Shows having over 80 contestants from around the world which doubled the the first edition participants.  In 2012 and 2013, the pageant was held in Warsaw and Belarus respectively.

The winner of the pageant will work for charitable causes as well as traveling the world promoting tourism, goodwill among all nations and a healthy image. A panel of judges evaluates the finalists during the live televised final in the basis of stage presence, runway skills and overall beauty.

Miss Supranational 2015 will be held on December 4, 2015 in Krynica-Zdrój, Poland. 70 contestants from around the world are expected to compete at the international pageant; Asha Bhat from India will crown her successor at the end of the event. She is the first Asian to get crowned by another Asian winner in the history of the pageant.
