Keesha Brotherson was crowned
Miss Earth Guyana 2015. Keesha Brotherson from Georgetown, will represent Guyana at the prestigious
Miss Earth 2015 pageant that will be held in Vienna, Austria in December this year.

Keesha Brotherson can be the first Miss Guyana to place in Miss Earth
pageant. She is the third Guyanese to participate. The first one
was Soyini Asanti Fraser. She participated in Miss Earth 2010. Next
was Stacy Ramcharan who participated in Miss Earth 2014. Stacy was also
unplaced at Miss Earth. Like Miss Earth, Guyana has never placed in
Miss Universe or Miss International. However, Guyana has achieved a lot
of success in Miss World. Guyana has placed six times in Miss World.
Out of these, Guyana made it to the Top 5 for four times. The highest
placement was achieved by Shakira Baksh in 1967. She was the 2nd
runner-up.
