Charity Mwangi is crowned Miss World Kenya 2015

Charity Mwangi is Miss World Kenya 2015. The  22 years old and 5'8" tall beauty queen from Kiambu was crowned at the end of the glamorous event held in Weston Hotel, Nairobi on October 16. She succeeds the outgoing queen, Idah Nguma who was placed Top 11 in Miss World 2014 pageant.  Along with the crown, Charity represent Kenya at the Miss World 2015 pageant in Sanya, China this December. Her runners up were
Miss Kajiado Margaret Muchemi as the first runner-p while Murang’a’s Olive Waithera was the second runner-up.

Charity Mwangi finished from Kamahuha Girls' High School and is currently studying Agricultural Resource Management at the Kenyatta University. According to her she she will pursue a personal campaign called ‘Mtoto Aishi initiative’ which aims to educate mothers, nannies and child caregivers on first aid to avert infant death in domestic accidents. Her bobbies and interests include Social work, Modeling, Dancing,Traveling,Reading, Adventure, Film and photography. She speaks English, Swahili and Kikuyu languages. Her future ambition is to be the woman who will inspire and empower. She is also career ambitious to be a reliable, accountable and transparent service provider who will ultimately attain credibility, integrity and competence needed to meet the needs of an evolving corporate world.
