Andrea Carolina Rosales from Amazonas was crowned Miss Venezuela Tierra 2015 (Miss Venezuela Earth 2015) at the finals of Miss Venezuela 2015 held on October 8’ 2015 at the Estudio in Caracas, Venezuela. Andrea will now represent Venezuela at the Miss Earth 2016 pageant. She is 23 years old and stands 1.83m tall. 

Andrea graduated from the Bicentennial University of Aragua and works as a lawyer by profession.  This young woman can be defined in three beautiful words: authenticity, love and responsibility. In addition to winning the coveted crown of Miss Earth Venezuela 2015, Andrea also won the Special Award for “Most Beautiful Hair”, which was indeed well deserved.

Andrea Carolina Rosales - Miss Venezuela Earth 2015

Venezuela has won Miss Earth pageant twice in 2005 and 2013 courtesy of Alexandra Braun Waldeck and Alyz Sabimar Henrich Ocando respectively. Six Venezuelan beauties have also been adjudged runner ups and placed Top 10 twice. Andrea's predecessor, Maira Rodríguezof last year finished at 2nd runner-up (Miss Earth Water 2014). Andrea would try at least a runner up title as well next year.

Jessica María Duarte was crowned Miss Venezuela Internacional 2015 at the end of Miss Venezuela 2015 won by Mariam Habach Santucci. The pageant was conducted yesterday, October 8, 2015 at the Estudio 1 of Venevision in Caracas, Venezuela. She is 23 years old and defeated 23 other contestants to be crowned. The 1.77m tall beauty represented Trujillo region at the event. She will represent Venezuela in Miss International 2016.

Jessica identifies with the historical character of Mandela, as all the adversities she had to fight for her ideas. A phrase that the lady always said was "Do not judge me by my success, judge me for the times I fell and got up again" and that is what Jessica too believes in. Jessica wants to be remembered as smart, elegant and a person with a positive attitude. She loves drinking coffee, travelling, going for movies and spending time with family. She resents injustice, racism and discrimination and wants to work with endurance and discipline in life. Her biggest strength lies in her belief in God.

Venezuela is one of the successful countries in Miss International pageant as it has a record of 6 wins and  6 runner ups and several Top 15 placements. Its first win after 25 years of participation was in 1985 by Alejandrina "Nina" Sicilia Hernandez and last win was in 2010 by Elizabeth Mosquera also from Trujillo. Will Jessica bag the 7th crown?

Mariam Habach Santucci was crowned Miss Venezuela 2015. The 19-year-old beauty queen won the 63rd edition of Miss Venezuela - Miss Venezuela 2015 which took place yesterday, October 8, 2015 at the Estudio 1 of Venevision in Caracas, Venezuela. She stands 1.80m tall and battled out 24 other contestants to be crowned with the new crown for Miss Venezuela Universo designed by George Wittels.

As the winner of Miss Venezuela 2015, she will represent Venezuela in Miss Universe 2016.
Mariam was Miss Lara at the national pageant. She is a dental student at the José Antonio Páez University. She has been dreaming of becoming Miss Venezuela since she was little girl. She was crowned by her predecessor Miss Venezuela Universe 2014 Mariana Jimenez will compete at the next edition of the international pageant on December 20, 2015 in Las Vegas where she hopes to be crowned by the reigning Miss Universe Paulina Vega from Colombia.

Also at the national event, Miss Trujillo Jessica Maria Duarte was crowned Miss Venezuela Internacional and will compete in Miss International 2016. Meanwhile, heavy favorite Miss Amazonas Andrea Carolina Rosales settled for the Miss Venezuela Tierra (Earth) title, she will be competing in Miss Earth 2015 in Austria. Miss Earth 2013 Alyz Henrich and Miss International 1985 Nina Sicilia were among the finals night judges.

The 63rd edition of Miss Venezuela - Miss Venezuela 2015 will be held  on October 8, 2015 at the Estudio 1 of Venevision in Caracas, Venezuela, after weeks of events. The winners of the pageant will represent Venezuela in 3 of the Big4 international pageant - Miss Universe, Miss International and Miss Earth in 2016. 25 participants representing the regions of Venezuela are to compete to be crowned by the outgoing queens of Venezuela. Hosting the event are Maite Delgado, Leonardo Villalobos, Mariángel Ruiz and Gabriela Isler.

Venezuela has a rich history of international beauty queens with 7 Miss Universe titles, 6 Miss World, 5 Miss International crowns and 2 Miss Earth crown and numerous Runner Up crowns.
Mariana Jimenez, the reigning Miss Venezuela 2014 to represent in Miss Universe 2015/16, Edymar Martinez in Miss International 2015 and Maira Alexandra Rodríguez represented Venezuela at Miss Earth 2014 where she won Miss Earth Water 2014 equivalent to 2nd Runner Up.

Miss Venezuela Organization introduced a 25th Contestant

Yesterday, Osmel Sousa president of the organization announced the 25th contestant Mellany Mille to represent the formerly ignored Delta Amacuro state.

Last Saturday 24 contestants were introduced to the press by the Miss Venezuela Organization to represent the 23 states and DC of the country in the forthcoming Miss Venezuela 2015 to be held on October 8,  in Caracas.

Contrarily, a “Costa oriental ” sash was given to a contestant , ignoring Delta Amacuro was again.
This action caused a controversy in the air between Miss Venezuela Organization and the Venezuelans that demand Delta Amacuro to be represented.

Therefore, Melany Mille will now represent Delta Amacuro at Miss Venezuela 2015. Who knows, she could win the crown!
