Miss World Contestants Visit Pingtan Island

Miss World beauties were surprised with a trip to a breathtaking island near Chinese Taipei and China PR – Pingtan Island, where they had a grand and lavish welcoming at the official welcome ceremony where thousands of people, including state dignitaries and media came out to support.

Speaking of her experience at the event, Miss Georgia said “Can you believe they set this all up for us?! I felt like a superstar and I cannot thank the people here enough! I wish I could’ve been there longer!

According to Miss World, “it was perhaps the most opulent reception the island has ever witnessed.”
The contestants were also treated to a welcome dinner and spectacular show that included performances from China’s most famous pop stars.
