Ariane Audett - Miss Alaska USA 2016

Ariane Audett was crowned Miss Alaska USA 2016 on Saturday, December 5, 2015. She succeeds Miss Alaska USA 2015 Kimberly Agron of Anchorage and will now represent the state at Miss USA 2016 pageant next year. Audett is 21 years old and stands 5'9" tall. She currently studies Biological Sciences at the University of Alaska and hopes to be a Physician. Also at the event, 17-year-old Nneamaka Isolokwu was crowned Miss Alaska Teen USA 2016.

 Alaska’s most recent placement was in 1990 when Karin Meyer placed in the top 6. The highest-placing contestant from Alaska, so far, is Miss Alaska USA 1964 Patricia Marlin, who was named second runner-up at Miss USA 1964 while Miss Alaska USA 2015 Kimberly Agron was voted Miss Congeniality with Miss Delaware USA 2015 Renee Bull.
