The Miss Grand International  2015 which marks the 3rd edition of the pageant was concluded at Indoor Stadium Huamark, Bangkok Thailand on Oct. 25. Miss Grand International is an annual international beauty contest run by the Miss Grand International Organization based in Thailand searching for potential woman to encourage and run the campaign ‘Stop the war and Violence‘ to help acknowledge people to avoid the conflict, violence that may lead to War in any form.

Anea Garcia from Dominican Republic won the Miss Grand International 2015 pageant and was crowned by the outgoing queen Miss Grand Int'l 2014 Daryanne Lees Garcia from Cuba. Anea defeated 77 contestants from around the world to win to the highly coveted international crown. The runners up were 1RU Claire Elizabeth Parker of Australia, 2RU Vartika Singh of India, 3RU Parul Shah of Philippines and 4RU Rattikorn Kunsom of Thailand.

20 years old Anea Garcia who has a tall height of 6ft is an American-Dominican model. She was Miss Rhode Island USA 2015 who finished 2RU to Olivia Jordan Miss USA 2015 in Baton Rouge. She was adopted by her grandmother who has instilled in her the ideals of perseverance, principles, and values. Anea has been fortunate to attend private schooling since the 6th grade, which is where she received Catholic education which helped her stay true to her morals. She is a sophomore student of Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island on a full tuition grant through the International Leadership Award and is pursuing a double major in Legal Studies and Philosophy.

Marie Darline Exumé has been appointed as Miss Grand Haiti 2015. She will represent Haiti at Miss Grand International 2015 to be held in Bangkok, Thailand later this year.

Who is Marie Darline Exumé?

Marie is 23 years old from Port-au-Prince. She is currently a medical student at Quisqueya University.  She started participating in beauty pageants at age 18 with the support of her mother. Managing beauty contests with her studies has not being a problem because she is studious and a person with multiple possibilities.

She loves God and family. Her likes include nature, honesty, respect, sharing, peace and medicine while her dislikes are hatred, war, revenge and injustice. She describes herself as being optimistic, dynamic, comprehensive, friendly, impatient, bossy and stubborn at times

 

 

The professional model was 1st runner-up at Miss Hadriana 2010, 2nd runner-up at Miss Haiti Universe 2011 and not a newbie in international pageants as she had represented Haiti at Miss Global 2013, Miss Progress International 2014 and Miss United Continent 2014 where she finished Top 10

 

Haiti made its debut in Miss Grand International with Lisa Drouillard who finished Top 10 at the 2014 pageant. Marie darline hopes to do better than last year, do you believe she can do better than Top 10?

Miss Grand Hong Kong 2015  is Janet Choi. It was confirmed on official facebook page of Miss Grand International few hours ago that Janet Choi will be replacing the first Hong Kong delegate Sharon Yeung due to her family serious health problem that needs to be attended to.

Janet was appointed as Miss Grand HK 2015 by Macau Pageant Alliance - HK Division. Janet is 26 years old, stands 5'4" and works as a recruitment executive. She contested in Miss Hong Kong 2014 where she finished as Top10 Finalist. Her bobbies include traveling, yoga and reading. She wants to be a successful artiste in Hong Kong. She's currently doing her post graduate studies in University of Warwick. Janet will now represent Hong Kong in Miss Grand International 2015 in Bangkok Thailand.

Nguyen Thi Le Quyen to represent Vietnam at Miss Grand 2015 & Miss Supranational 2015

Vietnam will be represented in Miss Grand International and Miss Supranational 2015 by Nguyen Thi Le Quyen from Bac Lieu. The 24 years old and 1.73m tall beauty was crowned 2nd runner up to Tran Ngoc Lan Khue, Miss Vietnam 2015 (Miss World 2015 representative) on 5th January 2015. She had previously won the Talented Vietnam Supermodel contest in 2013. The first runner up at the event, Pham Hong Thuy Van will represent Vietnam at Miss International 2015.

Jinah Dameckh is Miss Grand Tanzania 2015

It was officially confirmed on Miss Grand International Facebook that Jinah Dameckh has been appointed to represent Tanzania in Miss Grand International 2015 to be held in Bangkok, Thailand.

Jinah Dameckh was the second runner-up at Miss Tanzania 2014 where Sitty Abbas Mtemvu won the title but relinquished of her title to Lilian Kamazima (1st runner-up) when it was discovered she had lied about her age. Many believed Jinah was robbed of the Miss Tanzania 2014 title because she was the crowd favourite and I also see her more stunning than her winners. However, Miss Grand International is another opportunity for her to showcase what she's got.

Misss Grand Spain 2015 is Andrea De Cozarhas

Miss Grand Spain 2015 is Andrea De Cozarhas from Torrox. She has been appointed to represent Spain in Miss Grand International 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand. The current queen, Daryanne Lees of Cuba will crown her successor at end of the finale. Andrea is 19 years old and competed in Miss World Malaga 2014 (regional contest for Miss World Spain) where she finished 2nd runner-up to the winner, Marbella's Adriana Sánchez. She is studying Translation and Interpretation of English-Spanish at University of Málaga and also works as Victoria's Secret Model. 

This year Miss Grand contest will be competitive with contestants like Miss Grand UK  trio - Daneille Latimer, Taylor Stringfellow & Elizabeth Greenha, Miss Grand Malta - Sarah Marcieca, Miss Grand Macau - Chloe Lan amongst others. Does Andrea De Cozarhas have what it takes to win the crown?

Miss Malta 2015 Sarah Mercieca to represent Malta in Miss Grant International 2015

It was confirmed that Sarah Mercieca the winner of Miss Malta 2015 will represent Malta at the Miss Grand International pageant coming up in Bangkok, Thailand on Oct. 25, 2015. The 25 years old beauty from Balzan was crowned as Miss Malta 2015 on the 6th of June at the Hilton hotel, Malta. The reigning Lees Garcia of Miss Grand International will crown her successor at the end of the event.

NEWS; Meriam Kaxuxwen from Namibia is to represent Angola in Miss Grand 2015

Meriam Kaxuxwen, 23 years old from north of Namibia will be representing Angola in Miss Grand International 2015 in Bangkok Thailand. The 1.77m tall is a full time model.

She won two awards - Best Catwalk Model and Best Complexion in the World Bikini Model International pageant in China in August last year where girls from 48 countries competed. Also participated in Angola International Fashion Show in Luanda last year, The Fashion and Beauty and the Fashion Finest in Nottingham City.

But one thing we still don't understand is Meriam's real origin or lets say how she is connected to Angola because is Namibian today and Angolan tomorrrow. Moreover, non of her profile carries Angola apart from contesting in Angola International Fashion Show and now representing Angola at Miss Grand.

However, we wish Angola luck in their Miss Grand 2015 bet.

Bethelhem Belay was adjudged 1st runner up at the Miss World Ethiopia 2015 at the end of the national pageant at Kaleb Hotel in the national capital Addis Abbaba. She will represent Ethiopia at Miss Grand International 2015, the third edition of Miss Grand International Pageant to hold on 25th October 2015 at Indoor Stadium Huamark in Bangkok, Thailand.

This year Miss Grand contest is going to be a very competitive and challenging one with contestants like Miss Grand Dominican Republic 2015 Anea Garcia, Miss Grand Philippines 2015 Parul Shah, Miss Grand Netherlands Shauny Bult among others. Do you think Bethelhem Belay could be among Top 5?

On 5th September, 2015, Miss Grand UK declared the 2015 winners as Daneille Latimer, Taylor Stringfellow & Elizabeth Greenham to represent Wales, Scotland and England in the Miss Grand International 2015 pageant coming up on Oct 24 in Bangkok, Thailand. Miss Grand UK 2014 Georgia Smith, who finished in Top 20 at Miss Grand International 2014 was also present at the event. The British beauties have strong competitors such as Miss Grand Dominican Republic 2015 Anea Garcia, Miss Grand Philippines 2015 Parul Shah, Miss Grand Netherlands Shauny Bult among others to contend with at the Miss Grand International 2015 pageant.

Reinas de Costa Rica presents its Queens

On Wednesday, August 26, Reinas de Costa Rica organization presented its representatives of Costa Rica in Miss World, Miss International, Miss Earth, Miss Intercontinental, Miss Grand, Miss Panamerican and Miss Tourism International 2015 contests to be held in China, Japan, Austria, Thailand, Germany, USA and Malaysia respectively.

The three major queens were Angélica Reyes, Melania Gonzalez and Andrea Rojas  to represent Costa Rica in Miss World 2015, Miss International 2015 and Miss Earth 2015 pageants coming up later this year.

The other queens who were crowned were Lizbeth Valverde as Miss Intercontinental Costa Rica 2015, Mariela Aparicio as Miss Grand Costa 2015, Raquel Guevara as Miss Panamerican 2015 and lastly, Brenda Munoz as Miss Tourism International 2015. 

Do you know that Brenda Castro won the Miss Costa Rica 2015 and is suppose to represent Costa Rica in Miss Universe 2015. But she wont be at Miss Universe pageant this year because of Costa Rica's withdrawal from the contest due to the racist comment made by Donald Trump - stakeholder at Miss Universe.

Philipines sends delegates to Miss Grand Int'l & Miss Globe 2015

Shortly after our confirmation about Bb. Pilipinas holding the Miss Grand International franchise an announcement was made by Stella Marquez de Araneta, the organiser and director of Bb Pilipinas in an exclusive Press Conference held by the Bb Pilipinas Charities Inc. that the Bb Pilipinas Tourism 2014 titleholder Parul Shah will represent Philippines at the Miss Grand International 2015 pageant to be held in Bangkok, Thailand on October 26 this year
