Miss Namibia 2015 is Steffi Van Wyk

Steffi with other runners up

An astonishing athletic beauty of Namibia, Steffi van Wyk was crowned Miss Namibia 2015 at the Windhoek Country Club and Casino on Saturday, August 8. The 23-year-old holds an honours degree in Sport Science and lists her hobbies as athletics, coaching, music, nature and socialising.

Although her lack of experience in beauty pageants could have been an issue when it came to etiquette and grooming, yet she charmed her way to the country's most coveted crown amongst 11 other contestants who had years of experience in modelling or those with extra help from pageant coaches. She said in one of her lines "I really stepped out of my comfort zone, this is so different for me,"

Throughout the selection process, it was evident that Steffi's charisma and energetic presence set her apart and would take her far in the pageant. She is expected to compete in both Miss Universe and Miss World 2015.

Lyrischia Immanuellah and Unongo Kutako were first and second runners-up, respectively.
