Thunchanok Moonnilta from Chiang Mai won Miss Thailand World 2015



Thunchanok Moonnilta from Chiang Mai, 22 years of age, #23 of the Miss Thailand World 2015 contestants won the Miss Thailand World crown at the finals held on August 15’ 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand. The Chinese language student at Thammasat University, Bangkok was crowned by the outgoing queen Maeya Nonthawan Thongleng, who represented Thailand at the Miss World 2014.  



 
Thunchanok bested 21 other finalists and won herself the honour to represent Thailand in the Miss World competition coming up at Beauty Crown Grand Theatre on December 19 held in Sanya, China.

Among other prizes, she won close to a million baht (about US$28, 000) worth of prize, a brand new car plus a house. Wow! She just need to bring this crown home to Thailand.

The first runner-up was Minlada Sansok and the second runner-up was Nanthawan Ruengrit.
