Cecilie Wellemberg is to represent Denmark in the Miss Universe 2015 competition

At the successful conclusion of Miss Denmark 2015 held at AC Bella Sky Hotel in the capital city of Copenhagen on August 15, 3 representatives were chosen to represent the country at the annual international beauty pageants – MissUniverse, Miss Earth & Miss International.

Cecilie Wellemberg, 18 years old model, blogger, fitness addict, webshop owner was crowned Miss Universe Denmark. Cecilie is studying economics and business communication at the Copenhagen Business School and happened to be the youngest of the Denmark major titleholders. She will now represent Denmark at the Miss Universe 2015 contest.

The closest Denmark has gotten to the coveted crown of Miss Universe was in 1963 when Aino Korwa won the first runner-up at the Miss Universe Competition. Maybe Cecilie would succeed Paulina Vega this time.
