Martine Rødseth  Miss Universe Norway 2015
23-year-old and 1.75m tall Martine Rødseth Hjorungdal was crowned Miss Universe Norway 2015 at the finals held on yesterday, August 30 at Åpen Scene in Oslo. She finished 4th runner up at Miss Universe Norway 2014 which has helped to increase her level of experience and exposure to win the crown among other 150 contestants she vied with.

Martine wrote on her instagram account: “If you don’t succeed the first time, you can always try again.Thank you for this wonderful Night. Finally I could bring home The crown.” Her determined nature of "keep trying till you win" has led her to finally represent Norway in the Miss Universe 2015 pageant.
We wish her luck as she hopes to bring the crown home.

In 1990, Mona Grudt of Norway won the Miss Universe title. Kathrine Sørland and Helene Tråsavik were placed top 15 in consecutive years of 2004 and 2005 respectively which made the last placement Norway had in Miss Universe pageant.

The top 5 include:
Martine Rødseth Hjorungdal (Miss Universe Norway 2015)
Cecilie Andrea Røising (1st runner up) - Miss International Norway 2015
Sonia Singh (2nd runner up)
Christine Berge (3rd runner up)
Dina Lillian Nielsen (4th runner up)
