Miss India Karina Kapur won Miss Asia 2015

Yesterday, August 18, Miss Asia 2015 was concluded in Le Meredian Cochin, India where Kanika Kapur from New Delhi  emerged winner and was crowned Miss Asia 2015. She is 20 years old, stands 5ft 6" tall and a student of journalism and mass communication. The pageant is newly introduced and organized by Ajit Ravi Pegasus, sponsored by Manappuram Finance Ltd with a motive to support Ajit Ravi’s mission of saving 100 lives by conducting heart surgeries of deserving people.

The event was sectioned into three rounds - National Costume, Black Cocktail and White Gown, involving 14 contestants. Kanika represented India and bested other 13 contestants to bethe first ever queen of Miss Asia contest. Miss Asia 2015 is not her first achievement as she earlier held titles like Miss Mood Indigo 2013, Femina Style Diva North 2014, Manappuram Miss Queen of India 2015 and acted in a Telugu film titled ‘Tippu’. Her hobbies are reading, travelling, acting, swimming and inspiring people
