After the Miss Aruba 2015 contest at Marriott Resort & Stellaris
Casino in Palm Beach,
Alysha Boekhoudt was crowned by Digene Zimmerman, Miss Aruba 2014 as
Miss Aruba 2015. The 20 years old model with diploma in International Business didnt only win herself the honour to represent Aruba in
Miss Universe 2015 but also won the special award of Miss Photogenic. The farthest Aruba has gotten to in Miss Universe was in 1996, when Taryn Scheryl Mansell was placed first runner-up. Kanisha Sluis, Miss Universe Curacao 2015 was also present at the event.

Also adjudged at the event was
Nicole Van Tellingen as
Miss World Aruba 2015. She's 20-year-old, resides in Palm Beach but originally from Schiedam, Netherlands. Nicole won the Best Smile &
Best Runway awards and will now represent her country in the
Miss World 2015 pageant coming up in China. The first runner up was Thalia Croes. In 2013, Larisa Leeuwe Miss world Aruba 2013 was placed among the top 20 which was the last placement Aruba had in Miss World pageant.
